ZipRecruiter Introduces ZipSites – Beautiful and Easy to Set-up Free Recruiter Websites
Another Truly Easy to Use Solution from ZipRecruiter
A lot of technology companies talk about “easy” in their marketing, but usually that means “easy once you’re trained.” Not ZipRecruiter . These guys have a knack for producing products that you sit down in front of and just know how to use. To date they’ve launched job posting distribution and a searchable resume database. One subscription gets you both products and you can’t get angry at the price.
This week they revealed their newest product – ZipSites – free professional websites for Recruiters.
ZipRecruiter CEO Ian Siegel makes the bold claim that “ZipSites lets you build a professional recruiter website in 10 minutes or less.” We decided to go hands on with the product and see if we could validate that claim ourselves.
Starting from here ZipRecruiter wizards you through picking a url, selecting a layout, uploading your company logo (optional), and picking site colors. The whole process took less than 2 minutes.
Now you’re staring at a beautiful (but empty) website with all of the navigation already in place. Everywhere content can go is a box. Just click on a box and start typing or upload an image. If you already have copy written describing your recruiting practice (the services you offer, bios of your team members, etc…) then you truly CAN have the whole site ready for employers and job seekers in ten minutes or less.
Automatically Integrated Job Postings
One of the coolest things about a ZipSite is that it automatically connects your ZipRecruiter jobs to your website. (You don’t have to have a ZipRecruiter subscription in order to add jobs to your site, but note that with a subscription the jobs you create will be automatically distributed to the 20+ job boards ZipRecruiter feeds to.) Not needing to keep your open reqs current on your website is a major timesaver.
Summary
ZipSites are unquestionably a great solution for recruiters who don’t already have a website or who have a website, but are unhappy with it. ZipRecruiter is promising a number of enhancements in the near future, but out of the box this is already the best self-service website solution on the market for recruiters. And amazingly, it’s free.
