Wellworks For You Releases Smartphone App

 Corporate wellness management platform Wellworks For You has announced the release of a smartphone app, available for iOS and Android devices, that is now being included with all versions of the Wellworks For You programs. Participants can now access all program features from their mobile devices, including the wellness calendar that facilitates sign up for upcoming events, challenges, and programs. The WellTrek virtual pedometer tracking system is also available through the wellness calendar along with access to an incentive management program, fitness and nutritional planner, biometric data tracking, health risk assessments, meal plans, leader boards, wellness videos, a wellness toolbox, and more.

Registered smartphones may also now be used as both a pedometer and calorie tracker letting users upload step count and calorie burning data. An additional upgrade to the program for benefits consultants and employers is the ability to privately brand the Wellworks For You system including details such as company logos and color schemes. Supplementary solutions provided by the system include evidence- or targeted-based disease management, health coaching services, development and management of incentive programs, onsite preventative screenings, lunch and learn programs, wellness video production, customized newsletters, promo materials, and wellness challenge management.
