digital open enrollment kit WageWorks, provider of consumer-directed benefits (CDBs), has announced the release of its digital 2013 Open Enrollment kit. The kit is designed to prepare employers for the open enrollment season from October 1 to December 15 and when coverage plans begin on January 1, 2014. Open Enrollment challenges HR professionals, with the launch of the new health exchanges, to find the most effective ways to engage employees in the learning process of benefits selection.

“The process of selecting benefits is intimidating to employees,” says Britta Meyer, Chief Marketing Officer at WageWorks. “It is important to offer compelling benefits, but also to explain them and incorporate them into the employer brand to distinguish yourself as an employer, and to help educate, engage and enroll employees. Our new kits will go a long way in making sure that everyone benefits.”

The digital Open Enrollment kit includes the WageWorks Media Gallery offering online and offline communications options regarding the range of health and commuter benefits. Other tools include webinars, communications templates, survey samples, and a guide providing best practices and other tips for starting the enrollment season.
