Insala Outplacement Software Insala, a global provider of talent and outplacement software  and technology solutions, has recently announced that it will be hosting a series of online, live round-table discussions. Presented in collaboration with the Association of Career Firms (ACF), the first discussion, entitled “Current Trends and the Future of the Outplacement Industry” is open now for registration and will feature an expert panel of outplacement industry leaders. The first session will be held October 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

“This particular group of subject matter experts is geared up to discuss and debate the most timely of wide-ranging topics influencing the global outplacement industry,” said Phillip C. Roark, event host and Chief Executive Officer of Insala. “The depth of knowledge and insight among this group will create a lively discussion, and we are excited to share their perspective through this series of live events.”

Roark, alongside Christine De Cock, Director of Career Solutions at Insala, will be hosting the event. Topics for discussion include:

  • Major shifts in the landscape of outplacement. Will there be further consolidation, and how does that impact outplacement professionals, their businesses and customers?
  • Increasing numbers of competitive offerings to traditional one-to-one service. Is the industry impacted by game-changing technologies, services and newcomers or not?
  • The impact of the global economic challenges on outplacement services. Are companies still buying? If so, what are they getting for their money? • The role of job Seekers. With the changing demographic of job seekers, how does outplacement support their specific needs?
  • Global unemployment. What role does outplacement play in the global unemployment crisis?
