JobscienceJobscience, known for their TalentCloud suite of employee life-cycle applications, has recently announced Jobscience Mobile, the first mobile talent management app  powered by Force.com, Salesforce.com’s social enterprise platform for employee apps. The app allows on-the-go recruiters more ease-of-use in the field – forgoing cumbersome paper processing, it enables just-met candidates to submit their resume and application digitally.

“Paper resumes are a thing of the past — top talent job seekers today expect companies to find and interact with them online,” said Ted Elliott, CEO of Jobscience. “With Jobscience Mobile, job seekers can stop bringing printed, one-size-fits-all resumes to networking events and campus recruiting visits. Recruiters can start every application process out digitally — eliminating time-consuming scanning and data entry processes.”

With the mobile app, recruiters can streamline the job application process by inviting just-met candidates to instantly submit their resume. Through Jobscience mobile, submitted resumes are automatically parsed into the Jobscience TalentCloud application, which enables companies to gain, retain and grow employees with the power of the trusted and comprehensive Salesforce CRM platform.

Jobscience Mobile will be available on the Android, BlackBerry and iPhone smartphones as well as the Android tablet and iPad. Recruiters got their first chance to see Jobscience Mobile in action at Dreamforce 2011, the acclaimed cloud computing event of the year.

“Customers coming to Dreamforce will have the chance to see some truly innovative approaches that partners like Jobscience have taken in leveraging the capabilities of the Force.com platform,” said Ron Huddleston, vice president, ISV Alliances, Salesforce.com. “Apps like Jobscience Mobile continue to push the social, open, mobile and trusted capabilities customers expect from the salesforce.com ecosystem.”
