kenexaHR business solutions provider Kenexa has announced the launch of Kenexa Lava Mobile 3.0 designed to help develop, manage, and analyze results from performance support, enterprise learning, surveys, and device communications. Hot Lava Mobile was recently added to Kenexa’s portfolio upon the purchase of OutStart this February. Hot Lava Mobile aids organizations in developing content and delivering it across the range of mobile devices like basic feature phones to smartphones and tablets. The platform can be acquired as either a standalone product or integrated into Kenexa’s Learning Suite.

“Hot Lava Mobile 3.0 provides users with an easy-to-use solution that meets the need for access to knowledge and information anywhere, any time and on any device,” said Eric Lochner, practice leader of Global Talent Management at Kenexa. “This, in turn, helps to improve business efficiencies and employee performance and helps customers create a workforce that is aligned with their strategic business objectives.”

Mobile content such as polls, quizzes, and assessments can be created through the product’s PowerPoint plug-in utility which also enables users to convert media to device-specific formats and stream video. Content created with Hot Lava Mobile is also completely portable requiring no redevelopment or customization for the various mobile devices.

“The combination of familiar, simple content building and the ability to deliver that content seamlessly to almost any device makes Hot Lava Mobile 3.0 an impressive offering,” said David Wentworth, senior learning analyst with Brandon Hall Group. “This is the type of technology that could put an end to the confusion around mobile devices, platforms, apps and web delivery.”
