Work4 Labs Releases Jobs For Me App

 Work4 Labs, a leading provider of Facebook recruiting technology , recently announced the launch of their new app, Jobs For Me, which allows universities to provide career center resources directly from their Facebook page.

The Jobs for Me app offers complete integration with any university’s online career center, redirecting the features onto the Facebook platform where students are more likely to engage. Additionally, the Jobs for Me App allows job posting, searching and sharing functionality – a university career service previously unavailable through Facebook.

“The Facebook platform enables us to change fundamentally what until now has been an inefficient process.  Job searching is a highly social activity, especially among college students.  It is logical to take this process to the world’s largest and most popular social network” says Simon Bouchez, Jobs for Me lead project manager.

Universities now have greater control over how job postings are handled. “The universities can restrict access to jobs based on the user’s Facebook network or email address (e.g. @berkeley.edu).  Students can then search and apply for jobs themselves, as well as use advanced social matching technology to share jobs with their friends,” Work4 Labs said in a recent press release.

Like their flagship product “Work For Us,” Work4 Labs newest release is easily accessible and data driven. The university recruiting application benefits both recruiters and education institutions with a host of transparent metrics capturing tools. The dashboard function in particular displays real-time and historical trends on applicant views, Facebook likes, and sharing activities.
