jobdreaming Unveils Open Beta of Hiring App to Match Job Seekers With Employers

jobdreaming, an innovative web-based service from KMC Software that matches active and passive candidates with recruiters and employers, just announced the open beta launch of its web app. Job seekers can use the app to describe the types of jobs they’re looking for in one fill-in-the-blank sentence. Then they are matched with job openings created by recruiters and employers. The new app doesn’t require candidates list give their names or post a resume, something jobdreaming notes uniquely positions the company to attract the passive candidates.

As the first resume-free candidate sourcing tool in the job market, jobdreaming is designed to remove flaws in job board based sourcing, while taking social-based recruiting to the next level. It is a free service for job seekers and employers and recruiters can also post job openings for free, but only for a limited time during the beta.

“The job marketplace is currently so overcrowded with job boards and social networks; all of which take up so much time. Candidates want something simple,” said Kevin Watson, co-founder of jobdreaming. “We don’t believe that looking for a job should be a job. We allow job seekers to tell us what they want in a single sentence, and then we let them get back to their lives. When an employer comes to us with an opening, we then inform all of the candidates that match, check their qualifications against the employer’s needs, and put the two sides together.”

“We have all thought about a different job at some point in our career,” said Watson. “The challenge is finding that great job without jeopardizing your day job. At the same time, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for recruiters to find highly qualified candidates in a very competitive job market.
