Did you know that you can print nifty little certificates off the internet?  No joke.  If you have particularly enjoyed working with a particular HR department, you might want to consider giving them an award.  Not every company is easy to work with, and the human resources departments that go out of their way to help recruiters navigate the hiring practices win a special place in a recruiter’s heart.

The Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County (HRPBC) decided that HR departments deserve a little more accolades for going above and beyond.  To recognize HR Departments with a commitment to HR excellence in customer service, alignment of HR Programs to strategic business goals and a commitment to strategic talent management and workforce development, the HRPBC has begun giving Best in HR Professional Awards.  The HR Department of Nonprofits First is one of several nominees to receive this recognition.

Nonprofits First launched its HR Department in response to a critical need for professional Human Resources support and guidance in the county’s nonprofit community.  Many of the nonprofits found they could not fulfill all of their HR needs with their staff and resources.  The company grew to provide HR support to nonprofits to negotiate compensation, benefits, management practices, executive coaching, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, and training.  It has served approximately 3,000 employees.
