Empower Software Solutions Enhances Workforce Management Solution

Empower logoLeading provider of workforce and human resources solutions Empower Software Solutions recently announced it has made enhancements to improve the usability and mobile functionality in the company’s workforce management solution, EmpowerWFM™.

The upgraded solution’s new user interface is designed to be compatible across all browsers and fully deployable on tablets. Features include:

  • New dashboard screens and a series of tools that aid in the usability of the solution
  • Mobile functionality, compatible with iOS, Windows and Android devices,  for managers and employees
  • Task management integration capabilities and functionality to support employee shift trades

“Our large enterprise clients, specifically retailers, asked for a wider range of mobile and task management capabilities in EmpowerWFM and we believe this release augments our current capabilities in those areas,” Joe Olson, EVP and general manager of Enterprise Workforce Management, said.

The integration to the company’s current task management solution EmpowerTask™ is also a core update in EmpowerWFM. This year’s release allows clients to integrate tasks into individual manager to-do lists, provide visibility to task hours during the schedule tune-up/publish process, link tasks into enterprise data exchange mechanisms, and integrate task-driven labor and volume driven labor into a single scheduling run.

EmpowerWFM currently supports employee-to-employee trades of shifts using the solution’s schedule optimization engine and employee self-service components. The enhanced version will offer functionality for bulletin board posting of two-way shift trades, bulletin posting of one-way trades and automatic approval of paid-time-off requests.
