ATS Vendor Newton Software Improves Recruitment Workflow

 Newton Software – a provider of SaaS based applicant tracking systems, recently announced the launch of their new and improved job requisition approval manager. The new feature allows streamlined functionality in the creation and implementation of online job requisition approvals. Recruitment workflow and process engineering that includes automated job requisition approval is typically complicated and structured for larger corporate organizations in mind. However, Newton Software’s offering is designed specifically for small to mid-sized corporate HR and recruiting departments.

With Newton’s new feature, the online job requisition process is easier than ever. Hiring managers can sign in and request to get a job approved in only a few steps. The approval requests are sent directly to the human resources, finance or recruiting department where the administrator can select the necessary decision-makers to contact. These individuals are sent an email containing information on the request and a simple green and red button – to approve or deny the request. After approval, recruiters are given the go-ahead via email so they can begin advertising the position and sourcing applicants.

The new recruitment workflow functionality also comes with a dashboard component so users can see how job requisitions are moving along in the approval process.
